At Bright Start, our staff is dedicated to helping your child build the best foundation for their future. We focus on pre-academics as well as the social and physical growth of every child. We believe that children should be nurtured and supported in their early childhood educational experience so they may obtain confidence and pride outside the home. Using Developmentally Appropriate Practices we meet each child at their current level and help build their foundation from there. We practice positive modeling, encouraging reinforcement, and consistent classroom rules. Parents are an integral part of the learning process, and we will work as a team to meet the needs of your children. We look forward to learning with you, because great futures begin with a Bright Start!

  What an amazing start we have had to our school year! We are looking forward to a fun-filled month!

October will be filled with a lot of adventures and focused learning. Pumpkins, ghosts and Frankensteins, oh my! There will be plenty of fun and amazing Halloween creatures being created! The letter focus will be D, E, F and G. Math will feature matching and sequencing. Fire safety will also be featured this month, though the fire stations are still closed to the public so we will not be able to do our tour again this year. We are very excited that the Pumpkin Patch is open so we can do our annual field trip!

Colorado Pumpkin Patch

We will be heading to the Colorado Pumpkin Patch on Thursday, October 7th! The group will leave Bright Start at 9:00 a.m. and return at 12:00 p.m. The cost for this field trip is $10/child and will include a small pumpkin to take home. If this is not your child’s usual day you are welcome to switch days this week to join us. Snack will be provided! Bright Start kids only for this field trip please.

Scarecrow Day

Join us in dressing up in your scarecrow best as we celebrate the season!

Halloween Party!

On Thursday, October 28th we will celebrate Halloween with a party! Please have your preschool student come in their costume. We will be making trick-or-treat bags so no need to send any.  Snack will also be provided for the party!

Preschool Closures 

There will not be preschool class on October 4th, 14th and 18th due to District 38 closures.

Welcome back to Bright Start!

 Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year!  We are thrilled to have you all joining us for this exciting new year.  There are a lot of educational, fun and adventurous things planned and we hope you all have an amazing year with us!

The beginning of this month we will be focusing on getting to know each other and the class routine. We will begin our letter exploration with A, B and C with the assistance of the Zoophonics animals. Our classroom is set up with many zoo stations focusing on taking care of zoo babies, zoo letter matching and building/designing our own zoo!

Parent’s Night Out – Preview!
