At Bright Start, our staff is dedicated to helping your child build the best foundation for their future. We focus on pre-academics as well as the social and physical growth of every child. We believe that children should be nurtured and supported in their early childhood educational experience so they may obtain confidence and pride outside the home. Using Developmentally Appropriate Practices we meet each child at their current level and help build their foundation from there. We practice positive modeling, encouraging reinforcement, and consistent classroom rules. Parents are an integral part of the learning process, and we will work as a team to meet the needs of your children. Time to be Thankful

  We are excited to begin our season of thanks. It is fun to learn what the kids are thankful for and how they show appreciation. We would like to take this opportunity to tell you all how truly thankful we are that you have your children here with us!

In November, we will focus on “Thankful” things. We will talk about what makes us thankful and what that means. Turkeys and other fall art will decorate the room. The letters will be I, J and K. The Lion’s Club will be offering free vision screening the first week of November.

  • Vision Screening – November 4th and 5th 

  • Thanksgiving Break – November 23rd – 27th  

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Conferences will be November 2nd-10th. We will be offering virtual conferences as parents are still unable to come into the building. Sign-ups via SignUp Genius will be available soon.  

Vision Screening

The Lion’s Club will be offering free vision screening for all of our kids November 4th and 5th. This is done by taking a simple picture of their eyes and testing for 6 different eye abnormalities. We are grateful for this opportunity to get kids the help they need early!

Thanksgiving Break

There will not be regular preschool during the week of November 23rd-27th for Thanksgiving Break. Bright Start will be open for childcare November 23rd- 25th.  We hope that you enjoy this holiday with your families!
